60 Second Film Contest

The Producers's Forum has launched its 60 Second Cinema filmmaking contest. And you're invited to enter.
VENUE: O Bar, 264, Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2DS
DATE: 4th March, 7:30pm
Filmmakers will be given a remit and 3 weeks ot make a film that is less than 60 second long, including credits.
Specific limitations and requirements will require filmmakers to be creative and innovative in their approach, resulting in some very exciting and unique films.
We will also have a selection of actors from Actor UK who will team ups with the filmmakers to work on they project.
If you don't want to make a film yourself but want to get involved, feel free to come along and meet some of the contestants and get involved in their films. HOW TO ENTER On 4th March, come along to the event and fill in a registration form. The draw will be made shortly after and each film maker will randomly be given an entry pack. You'll be assigned - A theme. A prop. A line of dialogue. All four need to be included in your film. You'll have three weeks to plan, shoot, edit and deliver your film back to us. Details of how to submit your film will be included in your entry pack. You don't have to work on your own, you can recruit friends and other creatives to your crew. You can shoot on any format.
WHO WINS On 1st April (no joke) we'll screen the films at our meet up and the winner will be voted for by the audience on the night.
The winning filmmaker will receive £100 cash prize and of course the honour of being the first 60 Second Cinema winner.
